“No matter how good or bad you think life is, wake up each day and be thankful for life. Someone somewhere else is fighting to survive.”
We were told to give thanks in everything, not in some things or the things we enjoy or whenever we feel like it, but in everything. The more we do that, the less we could complain and eventually realize that when we thought we had nothing to be grateful for, we actually had a lot.
We are to give thanks by faith knowing that God will never leave us nor forsake us; there is always an answer, and so even when we do not know what the answer is, or how it will come, we should give thanks.
When the storms flood our lives and everywhere you turn all the doors are closed, look for an open window;, if you’re in the deepest, darkest pit, make a joyful sound, it will echo;, when your world comes crashing down on you and you fall on your knees, cry out to God in prayer, He has already heard you, for His Son was His grant for our salvation, the battle He has already won, rise up, have faith and walk on those flood waters.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever.”
