Republicans have become a BAD-OMEN to America and its people! GOP 1854-2014 RIP
Grand Old Party – GOP – Republicans 1854 – 2014 RIP
Register if you haven’t already and go out and vote like you never did before; vote blue, unite blue and let us put this party to rest. We have come a long way from what Bush and Cheney did to America and had it not been for this Do Nothing Republican Congress; we could have been so much farther ahead.
Republicans have become a BAD-OMEN to America and its people. They are against anything and everything that helps the Middle-Class; Poor; Children and the Country itself. They are however, always without reservation in helping the top 2% get richer at the cost of America and its people.
On December 23, 2008, President George W Bush signed the Trafficking Victims Reauthorization Protection Act, a Bill for Refugee Children that was supported by 93 Senators, only five Republicans objected. Now, many of the same Republicans are chastising President Obama for “upholding” the Law that the Bill authorized.
During the build up to the Invasion of Iraq, Barack Obama was just an Illinois State Senator; however, he weighed in on the contemplated invasion and said;
“I know that even a successful war against Iraq will require a U.S. occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences. I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong International support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than the best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaida. I am not opposed to all wars. I’m opposed to dumb wars.” Illinois State Senator Barack Obama 2002.
Reflecting on the words of Obama in 2002 and being witnesses to what has transpired with Iraq subsequent to our invasion, even as a State Senator, Obama gave deep insightful thoughts to the Policies and Actions that were taking place. Since becoming President, Obama has been cleaning up Bush’s mess; Financial; the two badly prosecuted wars; passed legislation that actually help Americans and not a day goes by that the right-wing Politicians and their followers are not eviscerating Obama’s character.
It is self evident that Republicans that have sat around and became the Do Nothing Congress, did so being fully cognizant that their non-action was better because their hope was that the country would fail and so would Obama’s legacy. To anyone with an honest bone in their body to deny that we aren’t better off today than when Bush left Office, it is self evident that they are uninformed, ignorant, brainwashed, or they willfully allow hate to usurp the truth from within.
