I take no joy in creating this photo because in life, be it sport, politics, two people applying for the same job or just about anything in that category, “one has to lose for the other to win.” And despite that reality, I always feel sad for the party that loses.
Mitt Romney is sort of a special case because he lied constantly; changed positions on just about everything; rude and obnoxious and his wife, always pontificating that because they are rich, somehow they are better than the people who are not!
But, despite that fact I have never and to this minute, harbor any animosity for Mitt and Ann Romney, but there wasn’t anything they could have said or done that would have caused me to agree with them, and as we have come to realize, so did the majority of Americans who voted for an Obama Second Term.
However, “a picture speaks a thousand words,” and in both of the photos, the one on the right taken during the early evening hours of November 6, 2012, when Mitt and Ann were believing beyond any doubt; Fox News, Karl Rove, Dick Morris and their own twisted in-house polling that they were going to win, you can see for a brief moment what we would have to endure.
Then moments past 11:30PM when NBC called Obama’s second term victory, the photo to the left interjects the demeanors on both of their faces, permeating just how sad and down trodden they must have felt.
Then on Wednesday (November 14th 2012) Mitt Romney on a conference call with his large financial backers attempting to justify why he lost the election, he again blamed the American people, claiming that President Obama promised them so much and that was the reason why they went out and voted for Obama, essentially calling sixty two million people moochers!
Thus for me, this was the last straw; I am happy that Mitt Romney would never run for any Public Office again, saving me and millions of people, the agony of listening to the biggest liar; shyster; hypocritical and dishonest person, that has ever sought the Office of the President, thus far.
(I was a supporter and worked on helping to reelect President Obama for a second term and I know in my heart, Obama will serve “all Americans,” irrespective of whether or not they voted for him.)
