Beyond This World Of Wrath And Tears

In the clutch of pains that follow me

From my head down to my sole,

I wonder what life holds’ for me?

In the darkness of my world

Despite the pangs I would not complain

Even when I pine,

And though at times I feel disdain

I know, I am wholly Thine

Beyond this world of wrath and tears

Looms, but the Heavens’ above,

With freedom from pains or fears

And the bounty of my Father’s love

So, in the midst of my circumstance

In this blessed evening shade,

I’ll live by faith and not by chance

Strong in heart and unafraid!

Pain breaks not the calm of the sweet twilight of age, for strength made perfect in weakness bears up with patience under it all. Ripe fruits of choice experience are gathered as the rare repast of life’s evening, and the soul prepares itself for rest.

The Lord’s people shall also enjoy light in the hour of death. Unbelief laments; the shadows fall, the night is coming, existence is ending. Ah no, crieth faith, the night is far spent, the true day is at hand. Light is come, the light of immortality, the light of a Father’s countenance. Gather up thy feet in thy bed; see the waiting bands of spirits!

Angeles waft thee away. Farewell, beloved one, thou art gone, thou wavest thine hand. Ah, now it is light. The pearly gates are open; the golden streets shine in the jasper light. We cover our eyes, but thou beholdest the unseen, adieu, beloved, thou hast light at even-tide, such as we have not yet! AMEN!

29 Year Old Brittany Maynard diagnosed with terminal brain cancer is going to die on November 1, 2014. November 6, 2014 is going to be 17 years since I survived Lymphoma Cancer. “The Nexus!”

29 Year Old Brittany Maynard diagnosed with terminal brain cancer moved to Oregon to legally “Die with Dignity,” on November 1, 2014. Oregon is one of the States that has approved the “Die with dignity Law.”  Mrs. Maynard’s story his heart-wrenching.

ABC News link to her tragic story;

I was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer and the root of the cancer was lodged in my Spinal Cord. The Oncologist and Bone Marrow Specialist advised that surgery to remove the Lymph Nodes without a Bone Marrow Transplant would only be temporary. Failing to obtain compatible Bone Marrow I was advised to have the surgery and remove the Lymph Nodes and to keep on trying to find the compatible marrow.

The White Blood Count was out of control. I agreed to the surgery.  One day prior to the surgery I fell into a Coma for six days and six nights and woke up on the 7th day to the dismay of everyone. More shocking than anything was the fact that I woke up with a normal White Blood count.

What I did learn from this experience is that “we don’t die before our number is called.” I don’t know whether or not Mrs. Maynard would die on the date she chose to take the legally prescribed medication, but I am going to follow this story.
