President Obama Slams Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu For Trying To Dictate United States Foreign Policy

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on April 8, 2015 by sheriffali

“Mr. Netanyahu is acting as if he alone can dictate the terms of an agreement that took 18 months and involved not just Iran and the United States but Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China. He wants to appear reasonable. “I’m not trying to kill any deal; I’m trying to kill a bad deal,” he said on NBC News’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. But he offers no workable options.”

Question: When is Israel going to allow the UN Inspectors to Inspect Israel’s Nuclear Sites for Nuclear Weapons placed there by The United States Government, subsequent to the Golan Heights War in 1967? Israel possesses over 200 Nuclear Warheads in Violation of the NNPT – Non Nuclear Proliferation Treaty.

The Pentagon confirmed the Israeli Nuclear Weapons due to a Law Suit filed by the Associated Press under The Freedom of Information Act.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel has gone into overdrive against a nuclear agreement with Iran. On Monday, his government made new demands that it claimed would ensure a better deal than the preliminary one that Iran, President Obama and other leaders of major powers announced last week. The new demands are unrealistic and, if pursued, would not mean a better deal but no deal at all.

There are important details to be worked out before a final agreement is expected to be concluded by June 30. Even so, the framework is surprisingly comprehensive and offers the best potential for preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. [Source NYT]

The United States Republican Traitors are also to be blamed for buttressing Benjamin Netanyahu’s perniciousness.

A Group Of 30 U.S. Specialists Including Robert Einhorn And Former US Ambassador Thomas Pickering [Republican] Endorsed The Iran Framework

[Politico] In one statement, a group of 30 U.S. specialists on nuclear security endorsed the framework as a “vitally important step forward” that will “strengthen U.S. security and that of our partners in the region.”

“We urge policymakers in key capitals to support the deal and the steps necessary to ensure timely implementation and rigorous compliance with the agreement,” wrote the signatories, who included Robert Einhorn, a former State Department official and past negotiator on the Iran talks and former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Thomas R. Pickering.

Pickering and Einhorn also were among 50 former diplomats, defense officials and political leaders who signed a separate statement which, in more cautious language, urged Congress to stay patient and “to take no action that would impede further progress or undermine the American negotiators’ efforts.” The statement was released by The Iran Project, an independent organization that tries to improve U.S.-Iran ties.

Rushed action by Congress could derail negotiations, “creating the perception that the U.S. is responsible for the collapse of the agreement; unraveling international cooperation on sanctions; and triggering the unfreezing of Iran’s nuclear program and the rapid ramping up of Iranian nuclear capacity,” declares the statement, which listed former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and former GOP Sen. Richard Lugar, a foreign policy mentor to Obama when he was a senator, among its signers. “Such a situation could enhance the possibility of war.”

Israel’s Leading News Paper Haaretz Said; “Iran Nuclear Framework Agreement: Not a bad deal!”

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on April 4, 2015 by sheriffali

Israel will have a hard time fighting this agreement, or portraying it as bad; if Iran upholds the terms, its nuclear threat will be severely mitigated.

Thursday night’s dramatic declaration of a framework nuclear agreement between Iran and the world powers surprised almost everyone outside of the locked negotiating rooms at the hotel in Lausanne, Switzerland, including the doubtful, cynical journalists waiting outside those rooms over the past eight days for the results. Also surprised, though they’ll never admit it, were many officials, including Israelis, who have vehemently attacked the emerging deal in recent months.

In contrast to the messages conveyed in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at Congress, the Israeli government’s public position over the last two years and the Pavlovian response that came out of Jerusalem on Thursday night, the framework agreement is not a bad deal at all. In-depth examination of the details shows that the deal includes many positive aspects that preserve Israeli security interests and answer some of Jerusalem’s concerns.

Iran perhaps scored some victories in terms of the narrative. Its rights, as it sees them, were respected by the world powers, and Iran can declare that its nuclear facilities won’t be closed, that uranium enrichment will continue, and that the humiliating sanctions will be lifted. But the world powers made significant achievements of their own on the real practical issues.

The framework agreement levels many restrictions on the Iranian nuclear program for generations to come. The Israeli government’s claims that in a decade, Iran’s nuclear program will be normalized in the eyes of the world, and that the Islamic Republic could then do as it wishes, have turned out to be baseless.

Correct, the limitations on the number of centrifuges Iran will be allowed to operate will expire in 10 years’ time. It would have been preferable if that timeframe was longer. However, over the next 15 years, Iran won’t be able to enrich uranium past 3.5 percent, and at that level, it cannot be used for nuclear weapons. The most the Iranians could do with such uranium would be to use it for peaceful purposes, or leave it in storage, collecting dust.

Also, the tight, invasive oversight of Iran’s nuclear program as defined by the framework, which will certainly be fleshed out in the final agreement, includes allowing UN inspectors into every Iranian nuclear facility, as well as uranium mines and storage facilities for a period of between 20 and 25 years.

HAARETZ ISRAEL NEWS PAPER IRAN NOT A BAD DEAL

President Obama and President Putin can rectify the present indifferences without starting a war, but, the demagogues must stop their vacuousness!

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on March 30, 2014 by sheriffali

In the final analysis, President Obama and President Putin can resolve the indifferences over the annexation of Crimea. Mr. Obama using measured sanctions against Russia, while leaving Mr. Putin enough room to extricate himself, represents Obama’s intelligence over ego. It seems that Putin is not a crazy man but he is definitely a proud man! Putin initiating a call to Obama on Friday, is a sign that this brisk but dysfunctional period can end without each side killing the other!

If we step back for a moment and without ignoring the lives lost or the humongous number of injured soldiers, the trillions of dollars spent on both the Afghanistan and Iraq wars; we could have rebuilt all the damaged schools; repair our badly needed infrastructure; invest into retraining American Workers and do more to efficiently educate America’s Children.

What did we get for the thousands of lives lost and the trillions of dollars spent?

Iraq! After eight years all we did was replace a Sunni Dictator with a Shiite Dictator that cast his lot with Iran. I am no defender of Saddam Hussein, but Iraq is far worst today than when we unintelligently and arrogantly invaded that sovereign country.

Afghanistan! After thirteen years; the Obama Administration did finally kill Osama Bin Laden in 2011 and during the course over the past years, we captured some bad people. However, had we remained focused when we attacked Afghanistan, our Soldiers perhaps could have captured the bad people and we would have been out of there in a matter of two to three years.

John McCain and some Republicans that never saw a war they didn’t like should give heed to the words of the wise and the humble;

“I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can; only as one who has seen its brutality, its stupidity.” DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER

“All wars represent a failure of diplomacy.” TONY BENN

“There never was a good war or a bad peace.” BENJAMIN FRANKLIN

“As long as war is regarded as wicked, it will always have its fascination; when it is looked upon as vulgar, it will cease to be popular.” OSCAR WILDE

“War may sometimes be a necessary evil, but no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other’s children.” JIMMY CARTER

Imagine the irony! Jeb Bush, the man who “shop-lifted” the State of Florida that propelled his brother, George W. Bush to the Presidency, attacked President Obama for “America’s Passivity.” People can agree or disagree, but it is the opinion of many that George W. Bush erased 225 years of America’s credibility by his futile and inept war expeditions. Bush started a war on “terror” in Afghanistan that became an Orwellian never ending war on “terror,” solely because Bush truncated Afghanistan in order to invade Iraq, for which the end results for both wars were; thousands of dead soldiers; tens of thousands injured; one hundred thousand plus dead innocent Iraqi’s that was caught in what is deemed as collateral damage and trillions of dollars spent.

If the Polls are correct majority of Americans are presently giving President Obama a failing grade and within the same Poll, predictions are that Republicans will win over the Senate. To think of the terrible state America was in at the end of 2008 and compare it with where we are today, it is positively shocking that so many people can believe wantonness by the Republicans over reality!

Is it hate or Obama’s race that make him prey to the many whites? Gallup just released a Poll for which the results reflected that “more whites” are more inclined to the Republican Party since Obama became President.
