With the implosion of Donald Trump and the Do Nothing Republican Congress headed for disaster, let us not become complacent, but instead, give Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine our full support and retake the Senate, House and as many Governor’s Mansions as virtually possible.

Hillary Clinton as President and with a Democratic Controlled Senate, House and Governors’ Houses, Hillary can implement great Policies that would inure benefits to all Americans and the World.

Hillary Clinton will continue President Obama’s Legacy, Policies and build on Obama’s Achievements, making America even greater than what it is.

Democrats, Republicans and Independents, set Party aside and give our First Woman President, the opportunity to do all that she can and will do, for as long as she can, to better the lives of all Americans.

The Republican Party has been stymied in phantasmagoric rationales and internecine Policies for way too long, creating dysfunction and blaming others for their egregious machinations.

Clint Eastwood The Stunt You Pulled During the GOP 2012 Convention Had A Major Flaw; “The Empty Chair Really Represents The Do Nothing Republicans.”

These Chicken Hawks Want To Spend The Money On Senseless Wars But Are Hell Bent On Cutting Social Services For Students The Poor And The Needy.

Hey Clint, what type of country do you envision? One where the Rich get Richer and the Poor die of lack of Food and Medical Services! Any country that fails to take care of the vulnerable in their Society has no business criticizing anyone about Human Rights, Freedom and Democracy. We know you are a good Actor, Director and Producer, but, it seems self evident that your thoughts are no different than the Repugnant Republican Reprobates.

We are most certain that you are cognizant of the fact that President Obama has pulled us out of the deep and unforgiving waters that George W Bush, Dick Cheney and the Republicans threw us into.

However, you may disagree with my personal opinion, but you of all people should apologize to President Obama for your phantasmagoric rationales and internecine Empty Chair Metaphor!

I am not suggesting this because Mr. Obama is looking for an apology, but by you taking this Giant Step may cause the Republicans pause as to the sanity of the GOP Party.

Nancy Reagan Endorsement Of Hillary Clinton For President Is Factual. This Was Confirmed By Nancy’s Son Ron Reagan On The History Channel.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on April 13, 2015 by sheriffali

Last week, during a promotional press conference for The History Channel’s upcoming series “First Ladies in Their Own Words,” series’ host Ron Reagan shared clips of his interviews with all living former First Ladies of the United States. In a brief video clip with his mother Nancy Reagan, she offered her endorsement of Hillary Clinton as President saying,

“The time for a woman to serve as our President has come – really, now is the time – and I think the idea of having a former First Lady as the leader of the free world is really quite a marvelous notion. I want Hillary to win. Even though I admire two of the current potential Republican nominees, I have no interest in seeing either of them lead this country.”

“First Ladies in Their Own Words” is the brainchild of Presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin and Ron Reagan, son of President Ronald Reagan. Broadcast in chronological order of their husbands’ terms in office, Goodwin and Reagan hope the series will show the importance of our First Ladies as a reflection of the culture of the nation during their years in the White House.

Besides interviews about family life in the White House and the First Lady’s social importance in the nation, “First Ladies in Their Own Words” will focus on four particular issues and how each has evolved over the last 40 years. Those issues – Women’s Rights, Healthcare, Education and LGBT Rights – reveal a dynamic shift in what Americans think about what means to be “American.” As Pulitzer Prize-winner Doris Kearns Goodwin notes in the first episode, “The Founding Mothers of this country knew that women in Colonial America would never get to shape the politics of the country at that time, but they did know that had the more important job of shaping the men who shaped the country.”

Ron Reagan was in his twenties when his father sat in the Oval Office and was clearly aware of what his mother’s job was as First Lady. “Hopefully, this program can show that no matter how divisive the nation was during the Presidency, the First Ladies of this nation knew their job was to soften the rhetoric by loving all Americans equally – just like a mother would.”

Asked about his mother’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton, Reagan thought it showed how little America actually knew about the woman behind the Republican icon. “She wants people to know that the First Ladies are tight. They get together once a year to support each other. In fact, Hillary had no interest in running until both Laura and Barbara Bush cornered her at their get-together in May 2013 and talked her into at least thinking about it! So, in a sense, if Mrs. Clinton does run and win, you can blame the Bush family.”

“First Ladies in Their Own Words” is not yet scheduled on The History Channel, but is expected to begin during the fall television season. Check local listings for dates and times.

President Obama is the best Economic President in Modern Times [Forbes]

Outperforming Reagan on Jobs, Growth and Investing; best Jobs Creation in American History

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) today issued America’s latest jobs report covering August.  And it’s a disappointment.  The economy created an additional 142,000 jobs last month. After six consecutive months over 200,000, most pundits expected the string to continue, including ADP which just yesterday said 204,000 jobs were created in August.

One month variation does not change a trend

Even though the plus-200,000 monthly string was broken (unless revised upward at a future date,) unemployment did continue to decline and is now reported at only 6.1%.  Jobless claims were just over 300,000; lowest since 2007.  Despite the lower than expected August jobs number, America will create about 2.5 million new jobs in 2014.

And that is great news.

Back in May, 2013 (15 months ago) the Dow was out of its recession doldrums and hitting new highs. I asked readers if Obama could, economically, be the best modern President?  Through discussion of that question, the number one issue raised by readers was whether the stock market was a good economic barometer for judging “best.”  Many complained that the measure they were watching was jobs – and that too many people were still looking for work.

To put this week’s jobs report in economic perspective I reached out to Bob Deitrick, CEO of Polaris Financial Partners and author of Bulls, Bears and the Ballot Box (which I profiled in October, 2012 just before the election) for some explanation.  Since then Polaris’ investor newsletters have consistently been the best predictor of economic performance. Better than all the major investment houses.

This is the best private sector jobs creation performance in American history

Bob Deitrick: ”President Reagan has long been considered the best modern economic President.  So we compared his performance dealing with the oil-induced recession of the 1980s with that of President Obama and his performance during this ‘Great Recession.’

“As this unemployment chart shows, President Obama’s job creation kept unemployment from peaking at as high a level as President Reagan, and promoted people into the workforce faster than President Reagan.

“President Obama has achieved a 6.1% unemployment rate in his sixth year, fully one year faster than President Reagan did.  At this point in his presidency, President Reagan was still struggling with 7.1% unemployment, and he did not reach into the mid-low 6% range for another full year.  So, despite today’s number, the Obama administration has still done considerably better at job creating and reducing unemployment than did the Reagan administration.

“We forecast unemployment will fall to around 5.4% by summer, 2015.  A rate President Reagan was unable to achieve during his two terms.”

What about the Labor Participation Rate?

Much has been made about the poor results of the labor participation rate, which has shown more stubborn recalcitrance as this rate remains higher even as jobs have grown.

81 School Shootings, 66 Children Dead; Where Is The Republican Outrage Outside of Benghazi, Sgt. Bergdahl Exchange, Impeachment and Iraq Civil War?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 23, 2014 by sheriffali

The United States Congress, both House and Senate is a costly Big Political Whore House, paid for by the Tax Payers, with their blood and sweat; agony for being unable to care for their children and their loved ones; living from one week to another; tens of thousands living on the Streets of America and since losing their homes and their jobs under Bush, have resorted to living in make-shift tents in wooded areas.

On the note of Congress, Republicans over the past five years have blocked any meaningful legislation that would have helped the American people including our Veterans; totally ignored the out of control Gun madness that are killing children and adults every day in America; ignored the broken infrastructure, but what the Republicans have done, is to have countless hearings on anything and everything, except that which helps the American people.

The Media, Television, Radio, Print, they for the most part have moved from reporting the News to help the uninformed ascertain what is going on in the Country, and what News today are all about, is perpetuating the egregiousness by Pimping their Television Stations to the “do nothing Politicians to mouth out incomprehensible nonsense.” On Cable News Net Works there no longer exist News, what they do have is  an abundance of Opinion Makers; Pundits and the likes promulgating phantasmagoric rationales and internecine narcissism.

The Insanity of the Misuse of the Second Amendment by Politicians that are in the Pocket of the National Rifle Association with no regard for human life, but are hell bent on protecting Gun Nuts that has totally spiral out of control.

The right to bear arms is going crazy. People, mostly white males, are carrying rifles everywhere. Their reason? Because if they do not do this, they’ll lose their rights…huh? There is a reason why they call it a right? No government official can take away your rights to have a firearm and since the Constitution does not say you are not allowed to carry in public, state rights allows people to carry in public. The disturbing trend though is, corporations allow people to carry their firearms in their place of business:

So why do mostly conservative white males carry? Most common answer…to protect themselves and their loved ones. These gun nuts are staunch advocates of the Second Amendment…or openly quote the Second Amendment as though they are some Constitutional expert, carrying their pocket Constitution with them while marching around with their rifle or shotgun for all to see. Yet, one wonders, would they do the same when people of color do the same?

Looking back in history, the Mulford Act was a 1967 California bill prohibiting the public carrying of loaded firearms. Named after Republican assemblyman Don Mulford, the bill garnered national attention after the Black Panthers marched on the California Capitol to protest the bill. The bill was signed to law by Republican Ronald Wilson Reagan.

Even though the Republicans wanted to disarm the Panthers, because of the 14th Amendment, everyone was banned from open carry, and California was one a several states that prohibits open carry. Still, it makes you wonder, what would happen if the Tea Party were predominately people of color? Would the conservatives still be adamant in the right to carry? When Mulford wrote the bill the NRA sponsored legislation to have gun control.

Again would the conservatives support PoC carrying in Walmart, Home Depot, Toys R Us parks and other areas open to the public? From past history, apparently no. Still, typical of the conservatives logic, everything they do always seem to backfire (no pun intended). What was probably a ban against the Black Panther ended up banning everyone.

Honestly, I’m sort of glad that the RNC in California do want gun control and all of our governors were pro-choice, but it makes one wonder, if the Tea Party with all its glory was a conservative black organization, would the NRA still be this vocal? Gun nuts on the right are saying gun control is racist, because it banned blacks from owning firearms. I respond by saying that the idea of the ban was from a Republican, signed by a Republican but it was a Democrat who made sure either all folks were banned or no ban at all.” [Politicususa.com]
