The Economy is doing well because of President Obama’s Policies, but not because of Trump’s or Republican Policies, because they have no Policies, except a Tax Scam that became Law that is now having devastating effects on Layoff, due to what the Rich is doing with the 1.4 Trillion Dollars Tax Cuts.

LAYOFF

AT & T 4,000

Macy’s 10,000

GE 12,000

Kimberly-Clark 5,500

Tourism Jobs lost 40,000

Walmart Firing Thousands

Toys R Us closing 180 Stores

Pfizer fire 300 Scientists that was working on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson Diseases. Pfizer is using the 10 Billion Dollars Tax Cut to “Buy Back Stocks.”

All of the above transpired just after The Tax Scam became Law and it is the same when Ronald Reagan activated “Trickled Down Economic,” it just doesn’t trickle down, it buries the working class and here we are again with a Republican President and a Republican Controlled Congress, repeating the 1980’s and 2001-2008, as the people suffer, those that voted Republican and those that did not.

Donald Trump is only educated and qualified in Lying, Larceny, Corruption and being a Charlatan, because outside of those characters, Trump is as dumb as you can get. Congressional Republicans are generally educated, but they are deceitful to the core, even against those that support them.

The easier problem for America is going to be getting rid of Trump; however, the monumental task is how to educate the majority of the 62 Million people that voted for Trump and the GOP, because in the final analysis, there are only two types of Republicans; Billionaires and Fools, check your Bank Account and find out which one you are!

Yes Sir, this performance tonight is to find out who can say the dumbest of things; tell the biggest lies; promulgate the most racism and be the extreme obnoxious person that may end up being the Republican Nominee, For President Of The United States.

They wouldn’t have any difficulty because Republicans and Fox News cater to the uninformed, ignorant, and uneducated and the brainwashed, that loyally and consistently vote against their own interest.

Tonight Performers are all educated, so they are not espousing stupidity because they are foolish people, no sir, they do this because of the audience, their loyal voters would be watching and they the Republican Voters, well, they are suffering from the Stockholm Syndrome.

Buoyant In Defeat, President Obama Ascends To The Mountaintop To Throw Thunderbolts At Republicans [Maureen Dowd NYT]

WASHINGTON — THE talk up in Boston is all about deflation while the talk down here is all about inflation.

Our sleek, techie president, whose battery dies faster than an iPhone’s, was fully charged Tuesday night for the State of the Union.

He was so puffed up, with such a bristling sense of self, that it was hard to believe this was the same guy who spent the last year clenched like a fist, beset by ISIS, beheadings and Ebola, shunned by his own party and slammed by the other party in the fall election.

The murmur went up from grateful Democrats gathered at the Capitol: “Wow, he’s got a pulse.”

Proving once again that he is a different kind of cat, Barack Obama is oddly pumped by his party’s defeat. Even in the House chamber, surrounded by hundreds of people and watched by millions, he seemed to delight in his detachment as he laid down his own markers to drive up his own numbers.

He doesn’t mind splendid isolation. He really thinks it’s splendid. He’s free to revert to being the consummate outsider who doesn’t see himself in the context of a system.

He likes the game better when he’s up against an opposing team. To him, Harry Reid was as big a problem as Mitch McConnell.

Now it’s easier for him to see who he is and where he stands vis-à-vis the Republicans because he doesn’t have to make intellectual compromises or negotiate the jagged shoals of the old-school Democratic Party. Now he can define himself against modern conservatives such as Rand Paul and Scott Walker.

President Obama feels he will be able to finally float above it all, more singular and more interesting and more separate, debating enlightened progressive topics like criminal justice reform and child care infrastructure while those off-kilter conservatives fight it out for 2016.

Unlike F.D.R., Obama was not determined to give Americans heart and courage at times of crisis. Instead, his White House tended to take on the coloration of his funks and the clouds spread worldwide.

He only began to really brag on the economy Tuesday night, when he felt certain of the numbers, rather than before the midterms, when it might have helped his party. He could have done a better job all along explaining where we stood and where we were hopefully headed. As one top White House official says about the Obama inner circle, “They’d rather be right than win.”

He’s alone on the stage — always his preferred setting. As an isolato, he can say what he thinks and define himself on his own terms. He can ascend to the mountaintop and ignore us when we pester him to come down.

He doesn’t have to negotiate with Republicans anymore. He doesn’t have to stroke Democrats anymore. He doesn’t have to hawk himself to voters anymore. He isn’t concerned about Hillary, as he yanks the party to the left. He has forged no lasting links to foreign leaders. And he can have the “vacation from the press” that he told NBC News’s Chuck Todd he yearns for.

“Barry got his groove back,” as Larry Wilmore, the droll host of Comedy Central’s “The Nightly Show,” put it.

We got the guy we’ve been yearning for only when he was able to blow us all off. He can finally do and say whatever he wants.

One Democrat who saw Obama in the White House said the president was so buoyant he had an air of “senioritis.”

It seemed a shame, the Democrat said, that Obama couldn’t have a third term, now that he was, at long last, fired up and ready to go. Of course, if there was a third term, he would be waiting another four years to show the mojo.

Thrilled to sidestep the press, he felt liberated enough, even as Yemen spiraled, to go on YouTube and make his case to the appealing GloZell Green, a YouTube star wearing glowing green lipstick who got famous eating cereal out of a bathtub.

Remarkably, The One has ended up in the same place the unpopular W. found himself at the end of his two terms: casting his lot with history.

Now that it’s all about him, he doesn’t get languid and reflective. He rolls up his sleeves and crisscrosses the country.

 BUOYANT OBAMA JAN 24 15

At the State of the Union, a President Outgunned in Congress Is Still Combative [NYT]

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 21, 2015 by sheriffali

The circumstances facing President Obama as he delivered his State of the Union address Tuesday night could not have seemed less promising: a presidency with only two years left to get anything done in a Congress that is now totally in the control of a party that has routinely ignored his pleas for cooperation. So he chose wisely to send a simple, dramatic message about economic fairness, about the fact that the well-off — the top earners, the big banks, Silicon Valley — have done just great, while the middle and working classes remain dead in the water. His remedy: skim from the rich and redistribute to those below, while deploying other weapons to raise wages and increase jobs.

He did not frame the debate over inequality as starkly as many economists have, preferring instead to talk about the virtues of “middle-class economics.” But he came close. “It’s now up to us to choose who we want to be over the next 15 years, and for decades to come,” he said. “Will we accept an economy where only a few of us do spectacularly well? Or will we commit ourselves to an economy that generates rising incomes and chances for everyone who makes the effort?”

Mr. Obama knows his prospects of getting Congress to agree are less than zero; Republicans dismissed his ideas before he even voiced them. That does not make them irrelevant. Mr. Obama was speaking not just to the present but to the future, to the 2016 presidential elections and even beyond. By simply raising the plight of the middle class (and, looming behind it, the larger issue of economic inequality), he has firmly inserted issues of economic fairness into the political debate. Hillary Rodham Clinton or whomever the Democrats nominate cannot ignore them now. Even Republicans, disinclined to raise taxes on top-tier earners, may find attractive the idea of doing something for those in the middle.

GOP AGAINST 95 PERCENT OF AMERICANS

When it comes to President Obama, just who are the Pollsters Polling? CNN prior to the Mid-Term was told by their god “Money” that the world was ending with Ebola and ISIS. Fox News was told by their god “Benghazi” “Hate” and “Racism,” that the world was also ending. Since the end of the Mid-Term, Ebola, ISIS, Benghazi seemed to have vanished! Why?

Honolulu (CNN) — Improving views of the economy have helped hike President Barack Obama’s approval rating to a 20-month high, a new CNN/ORC poll showed Tuesday, as markets climbed to record levels at news of an economy in overdrive.

More Americans still disapprove of the job Obama is doing as President. But at 48%, Obama’s approval rating is at its highest point in CNN polling since May 2013.

The gains were driven by newfound backing among women, independents and millennials — groups where Obama’s approval numbers jumped 10 percentage points from a month ago.

Meanwhile, Obama’s approval numbers ticked down among men, Republicans and Americans between 35 and 49 years old.

The approval jump follows a late-quarter jolt in Obama’s governing agenda, which gained momentum after unilateral actions on immigration and relations with Cuba. Separate surveys have showed those moves popular among the American people.

It all amounts to some welcome good news for Obama, whose unpopularity — despite consistently improving economic conditions — led to widespread losses for his party in November’s midterm elections.

Tuesday’s poll still reflected pervasive disaffection for Obama: 56% of respondents said the President has fallen short of their expectations, and 49% said his policies would take the country in the wrong direction.

The steady economic recovery has posed a conundrum for the White House, which wants some credit for decisions that helped pull the country from last decade’s recession. To the frustration of Obama and his aides, polls until recently showed Americans largely pessimistic about the country’s financial state, despite solid job growth and a bull market on Wall Street.

In public remarks — even those unrelated to the economy — Obama has touted the latest positive economic sign. But even as the unemployment rate dipped below 6%, a large portion of Americans were still gloomy about the economy.

That’s because of how people felt about their own economic standing, which for many still includes stagnant wages or jobs in low-paying service fields.

The first question went to Carrie Budoff Brown of Politico, who asked about cyber attacks.

The second question goes to Cheryl Bolen of Bloomberg. Up third, Julie Pace from the AP asked about Cuba and whether or not North Korea was acting with another country. The fourth question goes to Lesley Clark of McClatchy Newspapers. “World news Tonight” anchor David Muir just received a shout out from the president.

The fifth question goes to Roberta Rampton of Reuters. Colleen McCain Nelson was up next, asking about executive actions. Juliet Eilperin gets the next question, asking about the Keystone pipeline. April Ryan of Urban Radio Networks gets the last question, asking about the “state of black America.”

BARACK OBAMA NC 12-19-14

100% White Guy George W Bush January 20, 2001 – January 20, 2009, trashed America; 50% Black Guy President Obama dug us out of the ditch, however, not all, but many White Americans of all ages, gives Obama the lowest of Ratings.

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 9, 2014 by sheriffali

This is what George W Bush Presidency left to; Us, our Children, and our Grandchildren:

January 20, 2001, the national debt was $5,727,776,738,304.64.

January 20, 2009, the national debt was $10,626,877,048,913.08.

Growth of the National Debt under Bush: $4,899,100,310,608.44.

Annual growth of the National Debt under Bush’s: $612,387,538,826.05.

When Bush Left Office we had an annual Deficit of 1.4 Trillion Dollars

Adding the unpaid wars of 6.1 Trillion and the unpaid Tax Cuts of 1.2 Trillion Dollars will take you close to the Present 17 Trillion National Debt

Under George W Bush phantasmagoric rationales and internecine Orwellian Policies the Stock Market Crashed; The Housing Market Crashed; Our Financial Institutions either crashed or were in serious problems and the our Financial System was on the verge of turning us into a Banana Republic. Unemployment reached 10.2%; spending was 8.9% of our GDP; Our GDP growth was -5.8%; Consumer Confidence was 34%.

During much of Bush’s tenure, he had a Republican majority in both the House and the Senate that assisted Bush in this derangement. And now, the same American People, about 90% of the Country that lost almost everything, the majority of them are the same voters that have returned The House and Senate to the reckless Republicans that wrecked their lives. Amazing isn’t it!

President Obama January 20, 2009 to December 1, 2014 walked us out of the deep and unforgiving waters Bush and Cheney tossed us into;

Under President Obama’s Policies the Stock Market is at Record Highs; The Housing Market Rebounded; Our Financial Institutions are stable and our Financial System is on solid concrete footing; Unemployment is 5.8% with over 10.3 million new jobs; spending is 2.4 of our GDP; Our GDP growth 4.1%%; Our Annual Deficit is 5.65% and Consumer Confidence is 93%.

Two New Polls Bring Great News For President Obama and Congressional Democrats

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 1, 2014 by sheriffali

Two polls, one from Gallup that showed President Obama’s approval rating surging with Hispanics, and one from CNN that showed that 68% of Americans believe that Congress isn’t working with President Obama enough, have brought a bounty of good news to Democrats.

The Gallup poll revealed that President Obama’s approval rating with Hispanics has skyrocketed since he announced his executive action on immigration. In the last two weeks, Obama’s approval rating with Hispanics has jumped from 54% to 68%. It is clear that President Obama has completely captured all of the momentum on the immigration. The president has both the high moral ground, and the popular position. He is benefitting from acting where Congress wouldn’t.

A new CNN poll also suggested that the blame Obama strategy isn’t going to be enough now that Republicans control Congress.

According to CNN,

According to the survey, 50 percent of Americans believe the GOP taking control of the House and the Senate next year will be bad for America, and 52 percent expect it to lead to more gridlock. Another 37 percent, however, expect to see no difference in the levels of gridlock in Congress.

But Americans seem to believe the GOP should be the ones to budge.

Sixty-eight percent of Americans polled say the GOP isn’t cooperating enough with President Barack Obama, while 57 percent say it’s Obama who’s not cooperating enough with the GOP.

The situation is going from bad to worse for the Republican Party. The GOP is trapped between members of their congressional caucuses who are demanding revenge for the president’s action on immigration and the political reality is that what Obama did is popular.

While the American people are demanding that Republicans cooperate more with the president, members of their party want to do nothing. The polling suggests that people elected Republicans, and now they expect Boehner and McConnell to get things done. If Republicans don’t act, the blame Obama strategy isn’t going to work. President Obama isn’t on the ballot in 2016, but the Republican majorities will be.

Both of these polls are good news for Democrats, but they suggest a path forward. The president can continue to take positive steps through popular executive action while Democrats in Congress can go on offense against the Republican agenda.

Democrats are off on the right foot and are putting together a successful strategy. Boehner and McConnell appear to have been blindsided by Democratic aggressiveness. If the Republicans don’t regroup, Democrats could be putting the building blocks in place for a very successful 2016 election.

THINGAMAJIG! The Only Appropriate English Word To Describe Tuesday’s Election Outcome. Reelecting Or Electing The Same People That Have Made And Continue to Make Your Life Miserable.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on November 6, 2014 by sheriffali

Red States Have The Poorest Americans For Which Republican Polices Brings Them No Benefits Whatsoever. But It Is These Same Poor Red State Voters That Either Reelected or Elected Republicans That Would Only Further Enhance Their Misery. Strange Isn’t It!

So Why Do People Vote Against Their Interest?

“When you are dead you don’t know you are dead, others do, but you don’t. Applying that same philosophy to “Stupidity” and there is your answer.” [Mark Twain]

George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and the Republican Controlled House and Senate in 2001 and 2003 started two unpaid for Wars with a tab that has reached 5.1 Trillion Dollars and they gave, two unpaid for major Tax Cuts benefitting the Rich with a tab of 1.2 Trillion Dollars.

Their disdain for regulations on the Financial Sector allowed the Greed of Wall Street and Big Banks to scam the American people of their Homes. Banks were collapsing at the rate of 100 plus per month, wiping out people’s savings if you had funds beyond the Insured amount.

The Job market also collapsed in 2008 and took the unemployment figure to 10.2%. The Stock Market collapsed and the Standard & Poor fell to 730, wiping out 50% or more of 401K Plans.

Although we still have a long way to go, under President Obama’s Leadership he has corrected most of these problems and The United States is once again on very strong Financial and Economic Recovery.

Bush, Cheney And The GOP Congress Wrecked America; Obama Literally Saved America And Yet, Spineless Democrats, Republicans And The Corrupt Media, That Is Owned By Big Business, Blames Obama For All That Ails The Country!

Obama is the only President in US History whose approval rating dropped a single digit over a ten-month stretch and it was described as having “plummeted.” President Obama’s all-time low of 39% is higher than the lowest of any President since John F Kennedy. That’s right. At Republican god Ronald Reagan’s lowest; he was at just 35%. George W. Bush once hit 19%.

Congress has an approval rating of 9%, yet somehow, it’s Obama’s approval ratings that more than quadrupled Congress, that makes headlines and makes Democratic Congressional Candidates turn tail and run.

Just imagine, 4 Billion Dollars was spent on the November Mid-Term to elect Politicians with a 9% Approval Rating, the same Politicians that haven’t cared about 95% of the American People and it is the Majority of the 95%, that voted Republican and  gave them control of Both Houses of Congress.

All 1,500 Television Stations; 9,000 Radio Stations; 1,100 Magazines, 1,500 News Papers And 2,400 Publishers are owned by six [6] Corporations. We know factually, Big Business and the Republicans are indivisible, however, Middle-Class and Poor Republicans, Democrats and Independents, had better wake up to the reality of:

“Polls are not intended to measure reality; it is intended to shape it.”
