An Open Letter To The People Who Hate Obama And Everyone That Disagrees With Them More Than They Love America

[Merriam Webster Said: The True Meaning Of Democracy Is To Respect Others Even When You Disagree With Them]

[Source Ministry of Truth]  I meet you all the time. You hate Obama. You hate gay people. You hate black people, immigrants, Muslims, labor unions, women who want the right to make choices concerning their bodies, you hate em all. You hate being called racist. You hate being called a bigot. Maybe if you talked about creating jobs more than you talk about why you hate gay people we wouldn’t call you bigots. Maybe if you talked about black people without automatically assuming they are on food stamps while demanding their birth certificates we wouldn’t call you racist. You hate socialism and social justice. You hate regulations and taxes and spending and the Government. You hate.

You like war. You like torture. You like Jesus. I don’t know how in the hell any of that is compatible, but no one ever accused you haters of being over-committed to ideological consistency. You like people who look like you or at least hate most of the things that you hate. You hate everything else.

Now, I know you profess to love our country and the founding fathers (unless you are reminded that they believed in the separation of church and state), but I need to remind you that America is NOT what Fox News says it is. America is a melting pot, it always has been. We are a multi-cultural amalgamation of all kinds of people, and yet you still demonize everyone who is not a rich, white, heterosexual christian male or his submissive and obedient wife.

You hate liberals, moderates, hell, anyone who disagrees with Conservative dogma as espoused by Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. You hate em.

Well, here are the facts, Jack. If you hate the Government then you are unqualified to manage it. If you hate gay people more than you love America than you should take your own advice and get the hell out. There are several countries that are openly hostile to gay people, but they are full of brown people and you don’t like them much either from what I understand. It looks like you are screwed, but that’s not what I am here to tell you.

More rant below the fold . . .

Now that you have thrown everything and the kitchen sink at President Obama and it still hasn’t worked you are panicking. Obama’s approval ratings are still near 50% despite your best efforts to undermine the economy and America’s recovery at every step you can. You tried to hold the American economy hostage to force America into default on its’ debts, debts that YOU rang up under Bush, so you could blame it on Obama and it failed. You’ve used the filibuster more than any other Congress ever, going so far as to vote against providing health care access to 9/11 first responders. You remember 9/11, don’t you, it’s that thing you used to lie us into a war in Iraq, and then when Obama killed Bin Laden and ended the war in Iraq you told people that he hates America and wants the troops to fail.

You monsters. You hate Obama with a passion, despite the fact that he is a tax cutting, deficit reducing war President who undermines civil rights and delivers corporate friendly watered down reforms that benefit special interests just like a Republican. You call him a Kenyan. You call him a socialist. You dance with your hatred singing it proudly in the rain like it was a 1950’s musical.

Frankly, you disgust me. Your hatred nauseates me. Your bigotry offends me. Your racism revolts me.

Dear haters, I am openly questioning your patriotism.

I think you hate gays, Obama, black people, poor people, all of us, women, atheists and agnostics, Latinos, Muslims, Liberals, all of us, I think you hate every one who isn’t exactly like you, and I think you hate us more than you love your country.

I think you hate gay soldiers more than you want America to win its wars.

I don’t even think you want America to win wars, you just want America to have wars, never ending wars and the war profiteering it generates. You love that kind of spending, you love spending on faith based initiatives and abstinence based sex education (George Carlin would have loved that one), you love spending on subsidies for profitable oil corporations, you spend like drunken sailors when you are in the White House, but if it is a Democrat then suddenly you cheer when America doesn’t get the Olympics because it might make the black President look bad.

But oooh you love your country, you say, and you want it back. Well listen here skippy, it isn’t your country, you don’t own it, it is our country, and America is NOT the religiously extremist Foxbots who hate science, elitist professors and having a vibrant and meaningful sex life with someone we love if Rick Santorum doesn’t approve of it. Rick Santorum isn’t running for America’s f**king high school dance chaperone, he should probably just shut the hell up about sex, but he can’t because he has nothing else to run on.

Republicans can NOT win on the issues. They’ve got NOTHING. All they have is a divide and conquer class war that pits ignorant racist and bigoted people against the rest of us in a meaningless battle of wedge issues and the already proven to fail George W. Bush agenda again of tax cuts for the rich, deregulation, privatization and war profiteering and nothing else, so all they can do is blame black people, gays the government, anybody and everyone else for their own failings. The party of personal responsibility, my ass.

But they love multi-national corporations, just ask a gay hating and racist religious extremist if they think Corporations are people and they will gladly agree, but if you ask them if gay people are people they aren’t so sure.

Dear haters, you are the cruel, heartless misinformed assholes who would sell America out to Haliburton in a heartbeat, you would rather pay ZERO taxes than you would see a newly born baby get access to quality health care, you cheer when we discuss denying health care to young people with preventable diseases, and you boo when we discuss the First Ladies plan to cut back on childhood obesity.

You are a cross to carry and a flag to wrap yourself in away from being the people who Sinclair Lewis warned us about, but I guarantee that if Fox News told you to dress that way you would, because you are the same blind, ignorant and closed minded dunces who drove this country into a civil war years ago because you are bound to the notion that some men are more equal than others. In short, the reason I proudly wear my union army hat is because of seditious sell outs like you who constantly f*ck over working class Americans so a foreign entrepreneur like Rupert Murdoch can get a bigger tax break. If corporations are people, they are neither American patriots nor capable of love. Just like you.

So stop wearing your hate with pride. Stop celebrating your anti-science, anti-math ignorance. Stop using code words to mask your bigotry like “family values”, especially when you hate my family and when you stand on the same stage as a guy who has had three marriages or if you share a seat in the Senate with a guy who cheated on his wife with hookers while wearing diapers. You should be ashamed. I know that you are just doing this to motivate your misinformed hate cult base because if they actually knew that your ideas will make them poorer than they are now, they would never vote for you.

You are doing your best to impoverish your countrymen so rich people can get bigger tax breaks and you can keep on delivering corporate welfare to the special interests who have bribed you, and I am disgusted by the way you gleefully parade your hatred with aplomb. I don’t think you do love America. At least, not as much as you hate everyone in America who isn’t exactly like you.

You should think about that, and maybe get some help.

And for the record, I do not hate you. I am embarrassed by you and nauseated by your cruel and thoughtless behavior and your all consuming greed, but I do not hate you. I forgive you and I hope you can change someday, but I don’t hate you. You have enough hate in you for the rest of us as it is.

REPUBLICANS THE PARTY OF HATE

Buoyant In Defeat, President Obama Ascends To The Mountaintop To Throw Thunderbolts At Republicans [Maureen Dowd NYT]

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 24, 2015 by sheriffali

WASHINGTON — THE talk up in Boston is all about deflation while the talk down here is all about inflation.

Our sleek, techie president, whose battery dies faster than an iPhone’s, was fully charged Tuesday night for the State of the Union.

He was so puffed up, with such a bristling sense of self, that it was hard to believe this was the same guy who spent the last year clenched like a fist, beset by ISIS, beheadings and Ebola, shunned by his own party and slammed by the other party in the fall election.

The murmur went up from grateful Democrats gathered at the Capitol: “Wow, he’s got a pulse.”

Proving once again that he is a different kind of cat, Barack Obama is oddly pumped by his party’s defeat. Even in the House chamber, surrounded by hundreds of people and watched by millions, he seemed to delight in his detachment as he laid down his own markers to drive up his own numbers.

He doesn’t mind splendid isolation. He really thinks it’s splendid. He’s free to revert to being the consummate outsider who doesn’t see himself in the context of a system.

He likes the game better when he’s up against an opposing team. To him, Harry Reid was as big a problem as Mitch McConnell.

Now it’s easier for him to see who he is and where he stands vis-à-vis the Republicans because he doesn’t have to make intellectual compromises or negotiate the jagged shoals of the old-school Democratic Party. Now he can define himself against modern conservatives such as Rand Paul and Scott Walker.

President Obama feels he will be able to finally float above it all, more singular and more interesting and more separate, debating enlightened progressive topics like criminal justice reform and child care infrastructure while those off-kilter conservatives fight it out for 2016.

Unlike F.D.R., Obama was not determined to give Americans heart and courage at times of crisis. Instead, his White House tended to take on the coloration of his funks and the clouds spread worldwide.

He only began to really brag on the economy Tuesday night, when he felt certain of the numbers, rather than before the midterms, when it might have helped his party. He could have done a better job all along explaining where we stood and where we were hopefully headed. As one top White House official says about the Obama inner circle, “They’d rather be right than win.”

He’s alone on the stage — always his preferred setting. As an isolato, he can say what he thinks and define himself on his own terms. He can ascend to the mountaintop and ignore us when we pester him to come down.

He doesn’t have to negotiate with Republicans anymore. He doesn’t have to stroke Democrats anymore. He doesn’t have to hawk himself to voters anymore. He isn’t concerned about Hillary, as he yanks the party to the left. He has forged no lasting links to foreign leaders. And he can have the “vacation from the press” that he told NBC News’s Chuck Todd he yearns for.

“Barry got his groove back,” as Larry Wilmore, the droll host of Comedy Central’s “The Nightly Show,” put it.

We got the guy we’ve been yearning for only when he was able to blow us all off. He can finally do and say whatever he wants.

One Democrat who saw Obama in the White House said the president was so buoyant he had an air of “senioritis.”

It seemed a shame, the Democrat said, that Obama couldn’t have a third term, now that he was, at long last, fired up and ready to go. Of course, if there was a third term, he would be waiting another four years to show the mojo.

Thrilled to sidestep the press, he felt liberated enough, even as Yemen spiraled, to go on YouTube and make his case to the appealing GloZell Green, a YouTube star wearing glowing green lipstick who got famous eating cereal out of a bathtub.

Remarkably, The One has ended up in the same place the unpopular W. found himself at the end of his two terms: casting his lot with history.

Now that it’s all about him, he doesn’t get languid and reflective. He rolls up his sleeves and crisscrosses the country.

 BUOYANT OBAMA JAN 24 15

At the State of the Union, a President Outgunned in Congress Is Still Combative [NYT]

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 21, 2015 by sheriffali

The circumstances facing President Obama as he delivered his State of the Union address Tuesday night could not have seemed less promising: a presidency with only two years left to get anything done in a Congress that is now totally in the control of a party that has routinely ignored his pleas for cooperation. So he chose wisely to send a simple, dramatic message about economic fairness, about the fact that the well-off — the top earners, the big banks, Silicon Valley — have done just great, while the middle and working classes remain dead in the water. His remedy: skim from the rich and redistribute to those below, while deploying other weapons to raise wages and increase jobs.

He did not frame the debate over inequality as starkly as many economists have, preferring instead to talk about the virtues of “middle-class economics.” But he came close. “It’s now up to us to choose who we want to be over the next 15 years, and for decades to come,” he said. “Will we accept an economy where only a few of us do spectacularly well? Or will we commit ourselves to an economy that generates rising incomes and chances for everyone who makes the effort?”

Mr. Obama knows his prospects of getting Congress to agree are less than zero; Republicans dismissed his ideas before he even voiced them. That does not make them irrelevant. Mr. Obama was speaking not just to the present but to the future, to the 2016 presidential elections and even beyond. By simply raising the plight of the middle class (and, looming behind it, the larger issue of economic inequality), he has firmly inserted issues of economic fairness into the political debate. Hillary Rodham Clinton or whomever the Democrats nominate cannot ignore them now. Even Republicans, disinclined to raise taxes on top-tier earners, may find attractive the idea of doing something for those in the middle.

GOP AGAINST 95 PERCENT OF AMERICANS

President Obama and the Democrats saved the Economy; the Republicans tried to kill it and now they shamelessly want to take credit for the recovery.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 12, 2015 by sheriffali

Of course, McConnell isn’t just wrong about the timing of the accelerating Obama recovery, which in the second and third quarters of 2014 had ramped up long before a GOP takeover of the Senate seemed likely. As it turns, the Republican Party deserves zero credit for the improving American economy. Make that less than zero.

After all, from their opposition to the stimulus, the auto industry rescue, and the fed’s “quantitative easing,” to their debt-ceiling hostage-taking and draconian austerity policies in Washington and the States, Republicans have been undermining the economic recovery from the moment Barack Obama first took the oath of office.

Republicans hiding behind man made Religion and false Patriotism are a National and International Disgrace

Our humanity comes not from giving more to those who already have more than enough, but, by helping those who have too little.

The Middle Class and Poor that vote Republican vote against their own interest; have failed to see that Republicans only finance the very Rich and Wars.

One has to wonder! George W Bush and the Republican Controlled Congress crashed and burned America and yet, the majority of Voters have now placed Republicans back in total control of Congress. Do we as a Nation now have more uninformed, uneducated, ignorant and brainwashed people in America Today?

The first question went to Carrie Budoff Brown of Politico, who asked about cyber attacks.

The second question goes to Cheryl Bolen of Bloomberg. Up third, Julie Pace from the AP asked about Cuba and whether or not North Korea was acting with another country. The fourth question goes to Lesley Clark of McClatchy Newspapers. “World news Tonight” anchor David Muir just received a shout out from the president.

The fifth question goes to Roberta Rampton of Reuters. Colleen McCain Nelson was up next, asking about executive actions. Juliet Eilperin gets the next question, asking about the Keystone pipeline. April Ryan of Urban Radio Networks gets the last question, asking about the “state of black America.”

Historians Drop A Truth Bomb On CNN: Obama Has Already Built His Legacy

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 1, 2014 by sheriffali

CNN for quite a while has become Tabloid News and they no longer report the News, they Manufacture garbage and have been trying to pass it off as News. They have insulted the intelligence of their Viewers, many of whom have since moved away from CNN like they have ignored Fox Misnomer Hate News.

The major Culprits at CNN are; Wolf Blitzer, Candy Crowley, John King, Gloria Borger and most recently, David Gergen, one of many CNN Consultants. It is self evident that their Viewership are so low, which accounts for why CNN Hosts, most of them have become rambunctious, lying, shameless hypocrites.

Prior to the Mid-Term Elections CNN 24/7 beat the drums of a world that was ending because of Terrorists like ISIS and others; Ebola that was killing Americans; Russia was going to start World War 111 and blaming it all on President Obama’s ineffective Presidency. Have you noticed that since the very night of the Mid Term Election Returns, CNN has dropped the “world ending fear,” and if they do speak about it, it is five minutes or less?

The idea that Barack Obama has not been a successful president is myth that was created by his Republican opponents, and embraced by a bitter mainstream media like CNN and others.

This president has been very successful, and history will regard his accomplishments kindly even if the media will never give him his fair due.

CNN’s Candy Crowley tried to spin Obama as an unpopular president coming down the homestretch of his second term, but she was quickly straightened out by a panel of historians who discussed the fact that the president still has plenty of juice left.

CROWLEY: So, he said in jest, sort of. Here is a man who, for six years, has made no secret about the fact that he doesn’t like either the rhythms or the rituals of Washington, D.C. So, he has two years left. Can a man who doesn’t like the rituals or the rhythms of Washington, D.C., make good on those last two years? Put it first – put it into history for me. Who has made good?

DOUGLAS BRINKLEY, PRESIDENTIAL HISTORIAN: A lot of presidents made good on their second term when you think about. Look at Ronald Reagan had the Iran-contra problem, but then he was able to do some incredible diplomacy with Mikhail Gorbachev, helping to end the cold war in its last years. I mean, Bill Clinton, his second term I was able to keep driving on that idea of getting a budget surplus, getting rid of our deficit and by the end of his term, he wasn’t (ph) very popular, Al Gore wanted to be seen with him but nevertheless he had an accomplishment there.

So, in foreign affairs, it’s wide open and then you always have executive power, and you’ve seen a president now using the Clean Air Act of 1970, the provisions in it, to lay down executive orders on climate change, on stopping coal emissions or reducing them. So, there’s an environmental legacy and they all sign these big national monuments on their way out. Greater (ph) (INAUDIBLE) –

CROWLEY: Like post offices on a much higher level, right?

BRINKLEY: Yes. I mean, it’s still (INAUDIBLE) we just saw with the executive order on immigration, he still has a lot of juice left in him.

CROWLEY: Yes.

And Karen, what does he care whether — this is a man in his, percentage wise, in the 43, 44, 45 percent. Does he care about that or just take the executive order route and moving on?

KAREN TUMULTY, WASHINGTON POST, NATIONAL POLITICAL CORRESPONDENT: I think he is very much looking toward his legacy at this point.

He came to Washington to sort of change the way it worked. I think he’s given up on that idea. So yes, he’s going to use his executive power. It’s a – it’s going to be a gigantic job just to implement the laws that passed in the first couple years of his term.

And finally you talk to people at the White House and they say that it is very important to the president before he leaves office to use the bully pulpit to sort of change the terms of engagement, so that no future presidential candidate could ever run as opposing gay marriage or as opposed immigration reform. Essentially he wants to leave behind a national conversation that has changed because he was here.

CROWLEY: Richard Norton Smith?

RICHARD NORTON SMITH, PRESIDENTIAL HISTORIAN: That’s a lot harder to do. I would agree with Karen. In effect, he created his legacy early. He created his legacy with the Health Care Act, and now he’s going to make sure that it is defended, well-defended and almost invulnerable to the next president, whoever it might be.

That said, you know, we’re not talking about our fathers, let alone our grandfather’s presidency. This is a dynamic office. This is not T.R.’s bully pulpit or FDR’s fireside chats. In many ways a president’s — Harry Truman was the first president to pardon a White House turkey and I guarantee — and he went out of office with a whole lot lower popular approval ratings than this president has at the moment, but in the end it doesn’t matter what the popular approval rating is on the last day in office because guess what? We are the folks who are going to be the ultimate electoral jury…

CROWLEY: Right.

SMITH: …the historians who decided that Harry Truman wasn’t near (ph) a (ph) great president.

CROWLEY: (INAUDIBLE) George H. W. Bush about that, too, out of office with that.

Candy Crowley’s comments were another example of Beltway media running down President Obama because he doesn’t like Washington. Chuck Todd wrote a book that is based around the premise that Obama is not a good president because he never played the games that the press that cover the president require in order to have their egos properly soothed.

It isn’t that Obama hasn’t done anything. If anything, the president has been a victim of his own early successes in office. As Rachel Maddow pointed out nearly four years ago, President Obama accomplished 85% of his entire first-term agenda in two years.

In 2010, Maddow listed what the president had done in his first two years, “The fair pay act for women, expanding children’s health insurance, new hate crimes legislation they said could not be done, tobacco regulation, credit card reform, student loan reform, the stimulus — which in addition to helping pull this country back from the brink of a great depression, was also the largest tax cut ever, the largest investment in clean energy ever, the largest investment in education in our country ever. There was also a little thing you may have heard of called health reform. Also, Wall Street reform, the improvements to the new G.I. Bill, the most expansive food SAFETY BILL SINCE THE 1930s. And tomorrow, President Obama will officially sign a repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

4 Billion Dollars Spent To Elect People with 9% Approval Ratings That Are Against 95% Of The American People’s Interest; And It is The Majority Of The Same People That Voted To Elect Them, November 4, 2014. [REPUBLICANS]

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on November 5, 2014 by sheriffali

It defies common logic and beyond any sane person’s comprehension as to why the “Majority of Voters” would vote and reelect the same people that are responsible for almost destroying America during their 8 years rule when George W Bush and Dick Cheney ran the country.

In addition, since the inception of 2009 these elected people have done nothing but obstruct everything that would help 95% of Americans, including our Veterans, Middle-Class, Students and the Poor. They have “blocked” or “voted” against every bill having to do with Jobs, Infrastructure, Education, Health Care, Students, Unemployment Insurance, Veteran’s Benefits and other assistance for the American people.

I think we are living in a time where majority of Americans are uninformed; uneducated; ignorant; brainwashed and totally bankrupt of basic common sense. In the Exit Polls 54% of the Voters disapproved of how President Obama has handled the Ebola Virus. Just imagine, one person died and the approximately seven people that contracted the Ebola Virus have all been cured. Mr. Obama has taken steps along with other countries to contain the Ebola Virus that are only in three countries in Africa in order for it not to become a worldwide problem.

On the other hand, Ronald Reagan sat around until 20,849 Americans died from the HIV AIDS Virus before he even acknowledged its existence. Many of the same people are still in Congress and they are the same people that have cut over 600 Billion Dollars from the CDC Budget since 2010.

At the end of 2008 Bush and Cheney along with Republicans had literally wrecked the country. The Stock Market, Dow had fallen as low as 6,500; NASDAQ below 1,800; The S & P that House most of the 401K plans fell to 730, wiping out 50% or more of people’s pension. The Housing Market had totally collapsed and unemployment had hit 10.2%. The Annual Deficit was 1.2 Trillion Dollars. We had two unpaid for Wars costing to date 5.1 Trillion Dollars and two unpaid for Tax Cut for the wealthy of 1.2 Trillion Dollars.

Today the Stock Market is at record high; the Housing Market has recovered; Over 10 Million Jobs have been created bringing unemployment down to 5.9% and the Deficit has been reduced by 72%.

But yet, Majority of the Voters are totally dissatisfied with President Obama handling of his job. People are so ignorant on the Social Media Sites they blame Obama for the 2005 Hurricane Katrina Disaster; they haven’t a clue that the Deficit has been reduced by 70%. They blame him for America’s National Debt of 17 Trillion Dollars, even though when Bush left Office our National Debt stood at 10.4 Trillion and if you add the unpaid 5.1 Trillion for Wars that Bush started and the 1.2 Trillion Dollars unpaid for Tax Cuts, it isn’t difficult to see why our Debt is at 17 Trillion Dollars.

Irrespective of the Politicians that were Winners Tuesday night and even those that lost, their good life isn’t going to change. They will continue to draw $174,000.00 Plus Salaries and other major benefits including the best Medical Coverage. The people that are going to suffer are the people that Voted them into Power.

What has caused such damage to the Brains of the Majority of Americans?

ELECTION NOVEMBER 4 2014

Do Not Let Republican Candidates Hide Their Extremism These Midterms; Do Not Believe The Hyped-Up Polls; Media Conspiracy With The GOP!

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 22, 2014 by sheriffali

Republicans and the People at Fox News should be ashamed to claim Patriotism and having any “nexus” to The United States Constitution and The Bill of Rights.

We’ve been witness to a concerted effort by the Republican Party, with the collusion of the mainstream media, to misdirect the American people, to draw their attention away from George W. Bush and to Barack H. Obama in his place. We’re told there were no terrorist attacks on the U.S. during the Bush administration (hello, 9/11!) but this is just the most prominent example.

Just this summer we saw Bush’s press secretary, Ari Fleischer, pretend he didn’t know when the Iraq War started. What is really important to Republicans is not Bush, whom they’d like to simply pretend never existed, but Obama. All history began with Obama.

This works on a smaller scale too, where what can’t be wished away can be ignored. Bill O’Reilly laughably claims he is an independent while toeing the Fox News line. So does the less notorious Joni Ernst, though when she opens her mouth you can see she’s all about the tea bagging.

And even if it does come up, because we insist on talking about it, we are told the extremism of Republican candidates doesn’t matter. The mainstream media broke its longstanding rule on institutional silence on Republican extremism in 2012, but they seem to have fallen back into their own ways this midterm election cycle. Just the other day, George F. Will, as Media Matters for America tells us,

“[D]ismissed Colorado Senate candidate Cory Gardner’s support for federal fetal personhood legislation that would outlaw abortions and some birth control measures nationwide, suggesting that Gardner’s position is irrelevant because the legislation has “zero chance of passing.”

Media Matters relates that, “In his October 17 syndicated column, Will sought to neutralize some of the most controversial parts of Gardner’s record: his past support for a statewide personhood bill in Colorado and current co-sponsorship of the Life At Conception Act in Congress”:

“Gardner favors over-the-counter sales of oral contraceptives. In addition to being common sense, Gardner’s proposal is his way of making amends for formerly advocating a state constitutional “personhood” amendment (it is again on the ballot this year and will be decisively rejected for a third time) and for endorsing similar federal legislation that has zero chance of passage. By defining personhood as beginning at conception, these measures might preclude birth control technologies that prevent implantation in the uterus of a fertilized egg.” [Politicususa]
