CRH DONALD TRUMP BIGOT

[NYT] “Almost six months have passed since Donald Trump overtook Jeb Bush in polls of Republican voters. At the time, most pundits dismissed the Trump phenomenon as a blip, predicting that voters would soon return to more conventional candidates. Instead, however, his lead just kept widening. Even more striking, the triumvirate of trash-talk — Mr. Trump, Ben Carson, and Ted Cruz — now commands the support of roughly 60 percent of the primary electorate.

But how can this be happening? After all, the antiestablishment candidates now dominating the field, aside from being deeply ignorant about policy, have a habit of making false claims, then refusing to acknowledge error. Why don’t Republican voters seem to care?

Well, part of the answer has to be that the party taught them not to care. Bluster and belligerence as substitutes for analysis, disdain for any kind of measured response, dismissal of inconvenient facts reported by the “liberal media” didn’t suddenly arrive on the Republican scene last summer.”

GOP – Grand Old Party Bankrupt Of Shame: Running For President – Trump Bankruptcy Swindler; Carson Deranged; Kasich Lost Cause; Bush Loser; Rubio Hypocrite; Cruz Homophobic; Fiorina Pathological Liar; Paul Martian!

WHITE HOUSE - 2016 GOP NOV 10 DEBATE - 6

It is amazing to witness what has happened to the Party of Abraham Lincoln and Dwight Eisenhower.

After losing Congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell embraced the extreme Right-Wingers in 2010 and recaptured the House of Representatives. Then in 2014, Democrats that do not vote in the Off-Year Election gave the Senate to McConnell.

Then, Congress being run by Boehner and McConnell joined with the extreme binge of the Republican Party and decided to become “The Do Nothing Congress”, obstructing everything and producing Internecine Bills that didn’t in any way whatsoever, helped the American people, not even the Republican Voters that are still suffering from the Stockholm Syndrome, that keeps voting against their own best interest.

Majority of the Bills passed in the House and some in the Senate were a complete and utter waste of time; there were in excess of 400 Bills and each and everyone had to do with taking away Women’s Rights. Republicans have gone after Women’s Rights in such a manner that one would think these people don’t have a mother, Wife, Daughter or Niece!

In addition Republicans have and continue to go after Social Security, Food Stamps, and any and all Government Assistance to help the less fortunate, but they remain hell-bent on giving more and more to the 1%.

The Affordable Care Act has caused the Uninsured Rate to drop as low as 9%, but Republicans even after making 62 Attempts to literally kill the ACA [Obamacare] that failed, they are still focused on defunding Health Care for those that need it most.

Since 2016, John Boehner never brought to the Floor any Bills for; Immigration Reform, Jobs Bill, Infrastructure, Education or anything productive.

So, ask yourself, why do we even have a Republican Party? Democrats are not perfect, but they do favor America’s 99%. Perhaps, just perhaps, the speed of which the Republicans are imploding, we may be fortunate and do create a Third Party that would eventually replace the GOP!

Republican Field Woos Iowa Evangelical Christian: Republicans are not running on Faith they are running on Fraud!

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on April 26, 2015 by sheriffali

[NYT] WAUKEE, Iowa — Nine declared or likely Republican candidates descended on a large church in Iowa on Saturday to court evangelical Christians, the voters who played the starring role in the state’s two most recent caucuses.

They included the winners of those two contests (Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee), newcomers whose biographies lend themselves to evangelical support (Ted Cruz and Scott Walker), and candidates who would like to win some support from the Christian right but are eyeing broad coalitions (Rand Paul and Marco Rubio).

The nine-candidate lineup in the worship hall ofPoint of Grace Church in Waukee, a Des Moines suburb, was proof of evangelical power in Iowa, but also a warning that the script may be rewritten in 2016, with so many candidates competing for social conservatives that their votes splinter.

“The problem for Christian conservative candidates is they’re all running in the same lane,” said Kedron Bardwell, a political scientist at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, who studies religion and politics.

The speakers wooed the crowd, several hundred who were seated in steeply banked rows, with stories about the role of faith in their personal lives and pledges to support issues important to social conservatives, not only abortion and same-sex marriage but also a newly rising interest in security threats in the Middle East.

Many portrayed Christians as an increasingly persecuted community, seeking to appeal to the evangelical audience with vows to protect what they described as religious liberty for people of faith.

There were glimpses of personal biographies that are not the usual staples of stump speeches. Rick Perry, the former Texas governor, told of moving back into his childhood bedroom after a career in the Air Force, when he felt lost, until he had an epiphany that “I was going to spend the rest of my life doing God’s work.”

“I just really never realized how large the pulpit was going to be that he was going to make available to me 30 years later as the governor of Texas,” he said.

arly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive, talked about how after losing a daughter to addiction, “it was my husband Frank’s and my personal relationship with Jesus Christ that saved us from a desperate sadness.”

And Bobby Jindal, the Louisiana governor, said the most important moment in his life was not his wedding day or when he held his first child, but “the moment I found Jesus Christ.”

Senators John McCain, Lindsay Graham and other GOP’S blocked a 21 billion Veterans Bill

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 22, 2014 by sheriffali

The Bill would have expanded federal healthcare and education programs for veterans, the Senate GOP said the $24 billion bill would bust the budget.  However, the same unpatriotic Republicans that betrayed the Veterans find it fitting to display outrage for the Veterans Administrations fallibilities.

In a shameful display of partisan obstruction by the Mitch McConnell led Senate Republicans that blocked the bill that would have improved veterans benefits.

Senate Republicans blocked the veteran’s bill by using a procedural maneuver to invoke the 60 vote rule. The final vote to waive the budget point of order failed, 56-41. Only two Republicans (Sen. Dean Heller and Sen. Jerry Moran) joined with Democrats on the vote.

(Reuters) – “U.S. Senate Republicans blocked legislation that would have expanded federal healthcare and education programs for veterans, saying the $24 billion bill would bust the budget.

Even though the legislation cleared a procedural vote by a 99-0 vote, the measure quickly got bogged down in partisan fighting.

Supporters said the measure would have brought the most significant changes in decades to U.S. veterans’ programs. For example, it called for 27 new medical facilities to help a healthcare system that is strained by veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.”
