Paul Ryan: “Even Suspected Terrorists Should Be Able To Buy Assault Rifles”

HRC - SB - 1 RYAN.jpg

As the smoke clears from yet another horrific mass shooting, House Majority Leader Paul Ryan (R-WI) and his fellow National Rifle Association cronies in Congress have made it clear they have no intention of passing any kind of reasonable gun reform legislation – including closing a loop-hole that allows people on the FBI’s no-fly list for suspected terrorists to buy deadly weapons.

While attempting to frame the wholesale murder of American citizens as a “mental health” crisis, Ryan refused to consider barring suspected terrorists from purchasing weapons, because government officials put people on such lists without any due legal process and so denying those listed the right to bear arms would violate their rights.”

Never mind the hypocrisy of fact that multiple Republican presidential candidates have endorsed putting American Muslims in a database with no legal process; it is an absolutely astonishing contradiction between the right-wing’s delusional paranoia over the terror threats that they see in the faces of Syrian women and children and their obstinate refusal to deal with the white terrorists that murder us in our schools, in hospitals, in the workplace. As soon as they found out that the San Bernardino shooters were Muslim, FOX and the right-wing echo chamber began howling for action against radical Islam; when a Christian extremist walked into a Colorado Planned Parenthood and murdered three people, including a cop and a veteranwe heard only silence from the very same religious ideologues who have been inciting violence against the beloved healthcare provider. Let alone any action to restrict gun ownership, Republicans won’t even agree to pass legislation that would mildly inconvenience gun owners.

Or is it just a knee-jerk reaction to President Obama’s call for the same measure in the wake of the nation’s 355th mass shooting this year (the second that same day)? Congressional Republicans have spent the last six years making it their mission to oppose President Obama on every action he tries to take, even if it is a commonsense and rational proposal that should be relatively uncontroversial. But then again, considering that 90% of Americans want systematic background checks to close loopholes like this, it’s clear that John Boehner’s replacement has every intention of following in his predecessor’s footprints – to callously disregard the opinions and well-being of the constituents that you supposedly represent in favor of those filling your pockets and election war-chests.

Here’s a map of all the mass shootings in 2015; GOP Your Supposed Prayers And Thoughts Are Not Enough, Stop Being the NRA Puppet!

As details surrounding the San Bernardino, California, shooting gradually emerged Wednesday evening, President Barack Obama told CBS News that the U.S. has “a pattern now of mass shooting in this country that has no parallel anywhere else in the world.”

The mass shooting at a social services agency in San Bernardino left at least 14 dead and 17 others wounded. It is also the deadliest mass shooting in the U.S. since Adam Lanza opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, on Dec. 15, 2012, killing 26 children and adults, the Associated Press reported.

Using data from, which is maintained by a Reddit group, we’ve updated our map that documents all the U.S. mass shootings in 2015 alone. The group defines mass shootings as incidents when at least four people are killed or wounded, including the gunman.

According to the tracker’s data, the San Bernardino incident represents the 355th shooting this year, the Washington Post reported. The incident in San Bernardino also overshadowed another shooting in Savannah, Georgia that occurred the same day, claiming one life and injuring three others.

However, there’s not a standard definition of “mass shooting.” Adam Lankford, a criminal justice professor at the University of Alabama previously told the NewsHour that FBI’s data included incidents where fewer than four people were shot and didn’t include shootings of multiple people that occur in a home or other un-crowded setting.

On Friday, a gunman surrendered to police after an hour long siege in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he killed three people and wounded nine others in a Planned Parenthood clinic. The same day, a gunfight killed two and injured two in Sacramento, California. On Nov. 23, there were mass shootings in Houston, Minneapolis and Columbus, Ohio. There were five shootings on Nov. 22.

On Oct. 1, when a gunman killed 10 people and wounded seven more at a community college in Roseburg, Oregon, Obama also spoke of the routine nature of these shootings.

[A]s I said just a few months ago, and I said a few months before that, and I said each time we see one of these mass shootings, our thoughts and prayers are not enough. It’s not enough,” Obama said.

Republicans And The National Rifle Association Have The Blood Of American Children, Women And Men On Their Hands For Their Unwillingness To Assist In Passing Stronger Background Checks For Gun Purchasers

Stronger Background Checks would not stop all of the senseless killings, but it would help to prevent Mentally Disturbed People and Questionable People from purchasing Guns. Gun Advocates always throws up a smoke screen that Guns don’t kill people, but it actually does. At Sandy Hook School it was bullets from a Gun by a mentally disturbed man that killed the 20 Children and the 7 adults. On Thursday’s shooting in Oregon it was bullets that killed the people, irrespective who pulled the trigger.

The GOP and some Democrats have totally misused the Second Amendment to the Constitution as a panacea as an excuse for better Gun Sense. The Republican Congress that are paid by the Taxpayers do everything virtually possible to disavow their responsibility in educating the uninformed, ignorant, uneducated and brainwashed citizens that no one is advocating the ban on Guns, but rather the responsibility of Gun Ownership and the insanity of the insane having a Gun.

Red States have gone totally out of control by allowing Guns in Schools, Churches, Airports, Bars and just about anywhere. And it is those same States where the people are least educated and perhaps never give even one thought, that Guns would never turn them into Doctors, Lawyers and Scientists or make a better life for their children.

My wife and I owned several Guns and we raised four children without Gun accidents in our home or having shot anyone. I am not against Gun Ownership, but I am against Mentally Ill people and Criminals from owning Guns. And yes I know, Criminals can still find a way to purchase a Gun, but even if we stop one shooting from better Background Checks, it would be worth it to save even one life.

Website With Racist Manifesto And Photos Of Charleston Shooting Suspect Dylann Roof Surfaces

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 20, 2015 by sheriffali

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A website with a white supremacist manifesto features dozens of photos of Dylann Storm Roof, the man accused of killing nine people at a church in Charleston, S.C., posing with weapons, burning an American flag and visiting Southern historic sites and Confederate soldiers’ graves.

It is not clear who wrote the words and who took the pictures, but it traces the evolution of the author’s racist worldview and concludes with a section labeled “An Explanation.”

I have no choice,’’ it reads. “I am not in the position to, alone, go into the ghetto and fight. I chose Charleston because it is most historic city in my state, and at one time had the highest ratio of blacks to Whites in the country. We have no skinheads, no real KKK, no one doing anything but talking on the internet. Well someone has to have the bravery to take it to the real world, and I guess that has to be me.”

In one picture, Mr. Roof is shown posing with wax figures of slaves. In others, he posed with a handgun. He is alone in all the photos, which appear to have been taken at a slave plantation, Sullivan Island, S.C., and at the Museum and Library of Confederate History.

The website links to several pages of long racist rants. Some describe Hispanics as enemies and say that “Negroes” have lower I.Q.s and low-impulse control. The writings are not signed.

The domain site was registered in February under the name Dylann Roof. Mr. Roof, 21, from Columbia, S.C., is a high school dropout and unemployed landscaper. He is accused of waging a racially motivated rampage at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston.

“Stand Your Ground” Gun Law Makes No Sense; We Look Like Fools…

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 5, 2015 by sheriffali

[Source Wall Street Journal – New York Times]

The Wall Street Journal studied “justifiable homicides” nationwide from 2000 to 2010. It reported that these killings increased 85 percent in states with Florida-style laws (some states’ versions of the law were more limited), while overall killings, adjusted for population growth, declined during this period.

These laws encourage a “shoot first and ask questions later” mentality, which may help explain why, in supposedly justifiable killings, the victim, is more likely to be black when the shooter is white.

IT’S been 10 years since Florida enacted a beefed-up Stand Your Ground law. Since 2005, roughly half the states have passed this law, or one like it. The National Rifle Association led the charge, arguing that Stand Your Ground laws would improve public safety and protect honest citizens. Similar laws have existed elsewhere for over a century, but Florida’s law substantially altered the legal equation.

Under the new breed of laws, a person who has harmed or killed another in a public place can presumptively claim self-defense. The police must accept the claim’s validity. In other words, the individual need only assert the belief that the use of force was necessary to prevent serious harm or death. Coupled with that is special legal protection that makes the person (as the Florida law says) “immune from criminal prosecution and civil action.” Prosecution is still possible, but it is much more difficult.

A result, according to the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys, is hamstrung investigations and legal protections greater than those afforded to police officers. Not only have these laws failed to increase public safety, they have also turned the clock back to the mythologized mayhem of the Wild West.

The Tampa Bay Times examined the effects of Florida’s 2005 law in more than 200 cases (about half of them fatal) through mid-2012. It reported that the law’s chief beneficiaries were “those with records of crime and violence.” Nearly 60 percent of those making self-defense claims when a person was killed had been arrested at least once before; a third of those had been accused of violent crimes in the past; over a third had illegally carried guns in the past or had threatened others with them.

Stand Your Ground claims succeeded 67 percent of the time, but in 79 percent of the cases, the assailant could have retreated to avoid the confrontation. In 68 percent, the person killed was unarmed.

81 School Shootings, 66 Children Dead; Where Is The Republican Outrage Outside of Benghazi, Sgt. Bergdahl Exchange, Impeachment and Iraq Civil War?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 23, 2014 by sheriffali

The United States Congress, both House and Senate is a costly Big Political Whore House, paid for by the Tax Payers, with their blood and sweat; agony for being unable to care for their children and their loved ones; living from one week to another; tens of thousands living on the Streets of America and since losing their homes and their jobs under Bush, have resorted to living in make-shift tents in wooded areas.

On the note of Congress, Republicans over the past five years have blocked any meaningful legislation that would have helped the American people including our Veterans; totally ignored the out of control Gun madness that are killing children and adults every day in America; ignored the broken infrastructure, but what the Republicans have done, is to have countless hearings on anything and everything, except that which helps the American people.

The Media, Television, Radio, Print, they for the most part have moved from reporting the News to help the uninformed ascertain what is going on in the Country, and what News today are all about, is perpetuating the egregiousness by Pimping their Television Stations to the “do nothing Politicians to mouth out incomprehensible nonsense.” On Cable News Net Works there no longer exist News, what they do have is  an abundance of Opinion Makers; Pundits and the likes promulgating phantasmagoric rationales and internecine narcissism.

The Insanity of the Misuse of the Second Amendment by Politicians that are in the Pocket of the National Rifle Association with no regard for human life, but are hell bent on protecting Gun Nuts that has totally spiral out of control.

The right to bear arms is going crazy. People, mostly white males, are carrying rifles everywhere. Their reason? Because if they do not do this, they’ll lose their rights…huh? There is a reason why they call it a right? No government official can take away your rights to have a firearm and since the Constitution does not say you are not allowed to carry in public, state rights allows people to carry in public. The disturbing trend though is, corporations allow people to carry their firearms in their place of business:

So why do mostly conservative white males carry? Most common answer…to protect themselves and their loved ones. These gun nuts are staunch advocates of the Second Amendment…or openly quote the Second Amendment as though they are some Constitutional expert, carrying their pocket Constitution with them while marching around with their rifle or shotgun for all to see. Yet, one wonders, would they do the same when people of color do the same?

Looking back in history, the Mulford Act was a 1967 California bill prohibiting the public carrying of loaded firearms. Named after Republican assemblyman Don Mulford, the bill garnered national attention after the Black Panthers marched on the California Capitol to protest the bill. The bill was signed to law by Republican Ronald Wilson Reagan.

Even though the Republicans wanted to disarm the Panthers, because of the 14th Amendment, everyone was banned from open carry, and California was one a several states that prohibits open carry. Still, it makes you wonder, what would happen if the Tea Party were predominately people of color? Would the conservatives still be adamant in the right to carry? When Mulford wrote the bill the NRA sponsored legislation to have gun control.

Again would the conservatives support PoC carrying in Walmart, Home Depot, Toys R Us parks and other areas open to the public? From past history, apparently no. Still, typical of the conservatives logic, everything they do always seem to backfire (no pun intended). What was probably a ban against the Black Panther ended up banning everyone.

Honestly, I’m sort of glad that the RNC in California do want gun control and all of our governors were pro-choice, but it makes one wonder, if the Tea Party with all its glory was a conservative black organization, would the NRA still be this vocal? Gun nuts on the right are saying gun control is racist, because it banned blacks from owning firearms. I respond by saying that the idea of the ban was from a Republican, signed by a Republican but it was a Democrat who made sure either all folks were banned or no ban at all.” []

Seditious American Jihadists in America responsible for inciting the Anarchist criminal mentality…

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 11, 2014 by sheriffali

The people in the image below are responsible for the out of control Gun Violence and the anti-government mentality that is sweeping the Nation, hedging on extremely dangerous grounds. Republicans and Fox News may very well be responsible for the deaths of the two Police Officers in Las Vegas. If you would recall, many in the GOP and Fox News took the side of the Law Breaking perpetrator in the Bundy Ranch Escapade in Nevada.

Outside of the United States and perhaps England, in almost any other country if these people couldn’t be found, the statement directly below would apply to them. When some in the Media and Politicians participate in “seditious acts,” they should be held responsible for the consequences.

“Wanted for inciting violence through seditious acts and are responsible for Gun Violence against 74 schools since the devastating Sandy Hook murder of 20 children and other Gun related deaths!”
